A Tale of a Super Mom, Twin Toddlers and Sticker Faces

Hello, My Sticker Face friends, I’m Chrissy!

There was a time once, long ago, when I considered myself a super-crafty, creative and organized person. Obviously I figured once becoming a mom (to beautiful twin girls!), while working full-time as a nurse and tending to family duties, this would totally translate and I would be super-mom who has it all figured out. Nope. Spending A LOT of time with two tiny toddlers, it is evident that they are not into sharing. Anything. After many a meltdown with screams of “Mine! Mine! Mine!” like the seagulls in Finding Nemo, but in stereo, My Sticker Face offered me the greatest solutions to so many of our daily problems! There is nothing tiny humans love more in this world than stickers and their own faces. It’s a fact. And given that they can’t read, this is a no-brainer. I’m super-mom at last!

We love seeing our faces on our shoe bins before we head out for the day. The girls wear different sized shoes, so things started to get very confusing during the rush to get everyone out of the door in a timely fashion. We separated the shoes into some canvas bins from Target (because what self-respecting mom doesn’t shamelessly love Target?) , slapped on some 3.5” My Sticker Faces and now, not only do I feel like I have it together, but the girls are learning what belongs to them with less tears! It’s like seeing their sister’s face is automatic proof that “Yes, sweetheart, that is not yours.” Genius!

This also worked great for the chairs at the little table they share. Daily struggle. The girls beamed with joy at the sight of their faces. Now everyone has their place and all is right with the world.

The smallest of the My Sticker Face options helped me solve another problem in our house, one I’m not particularly proud of. There was a 100% chance that I was mixing up the girls’ toothbrushes on a daily basis. The little faces on each brush have made brushing our teeth fun and more hygienic for sure.

The stickers have not only been a fun and creative way to help my twins with sharing at home, but I brought the multi-sticker sheet to work and decorated my locker with our whole family! Even Fozzy, the sometimes lovable golden-doodle. Looking at everyone's little floating heads all day makes me so happy! And that’s what it’s all about. Plus, once your co-workers get their hands on them, the possibilities are endless!
